Three-time NBA Champion Dwyane Wade grew up in Chicago and was a star player for Marquette University before becoming the 5th overall NBA draft pick in 2003.

Dwyane lead the miami Heat to their first NBA Championship in franchise history in 2006 while being named the NBA Finals MVP. Dwyane and the Heat won their second and third NBA World Championships in back-to-back years 2012 and 2013 alongside his teammates, LeBron James and Chris Bosh, together creating Miami’s “BIG 3.”

For nearly two years, Dwyane had the top selling NBA jersey. Dwyane is also an eleven-time NBA All Star, a two-time Olympic medalist, a Sportsman of the Year, and the winner of the 2009 NBA Scoring Title.

Dwyane is well known off the court as well through his philanthropic involvement in various organizations. In 2003, he established The Wade’s World Foundation, which provides support to community-based organizations that promote education, health, and social skills for children in at risk situations. “I can’t just let basketball define who I am and what I am supposed to become,” said Wade. “Like my mother always tells me, ‘My life is bigger than basketball.’”
